The Custom Home: Process Overview

Let’s walk through what you can expect when building your custom home with our home construction and design specialists.

Pre-Construction (60-90 Days)

Kickoff Meeting

We want to hear about your design ideas, where you want to live, and home building goals. We will discuss what you want, expect, timeline and budget.

Plan Development

Our architectural team starts developing your floor plan design followed by exterior elevations. During which we will design the perfect home for you and begin our comprehensive budgeting process.

Product Pre-Selections

We will review a broad-range of product selections to obtain a more accurate budget. This is primarily to determine product types and price range.

Construction Agreement

Final design plans, product-material selections, and budget will be put
into contract and reviewed for signature.

Building Your New Home

Initial Selections

As the process continues, you will start to make
specific selections for each design element of your new home.

Obtain Permits/ Begin Construction

Once we have necessary permits, we will begin your construction
journey. It will no longer be just a dream, soon it will be your home.

Final Selections

Finalize design selections and review with our design team. All product choices must be approved in our online software, BuilderTrend.

Walkthrough

As we near the end of construction, together we will walkthrough your new home. This allows you to see the progress as well as address any questions.

Post-Construction

Move-in!

Once your home is complete and passes inspection, a certificate of occupancy will be issued, allowing you to officially move in!

60-90 Days

Between sixty and ninety days after you move in, our customer
service team will be in touch to make sure you are satisfied with your new home.

1 Year

After one year, our customer service team will conduct a final check
of your home and perform a wellness review of all items under warranty.
